Looking for an Accountant with atleast 5 Years of experience in UAE. :***** QUICKBOOKS KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST! ***** The candidate must have good understanding of Accounting principles, Banking and Reporting Standards. The Candidate MUST know QuickBooks. Your main tasks and responsibilities are as follows (but not limiting to):
Ensure timely posting of journal entries
Payment release and Petty Cash Management on a daily base reconciliation.
Assist the Head of the Department in all reports and requests
Prepare monthly payroll and distribution of salaries of staff through WPS.
Assisting with annual audit preparations.
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
Preparing UAE VAT tax filings, returns and reports.
Extracting attendance summaries for hired labours/projects on a case-to-case basis to base calculations.
Preparing financial analysis and report
Prepare cash flow forecast and control
Supplier Management and Aging analysis report
Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
Candidate must have QuickBooks knowledge, familiar with progress invoicing, project invoicing and UAE VAT accounting. Skills Required:

Education/Experience Required:
Post Graduate Degree in Accounts
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
Good command of written and spoken English
Expertise in accounts reconciliations, preparing and reading financial statements and budgets.
Accounting and bookkeeping activities, accurate and timely execution of daily accounting operations and monthly closing.
Making routine financial reports/summaries on weekly, monthly basis.
