The Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the financial operations of the company. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in accounting and a passion for the steel and aluminum industry. Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
• Requirements:
• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably within the steel and aluminum industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP)
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
