About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Accountant

to manage day-to-day financial operations across our group of companies. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in bookkeeping, maintain compliance with UAE accounting standards, and support management with financial insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Handle accounts payable/receivable, supplier payments, and expense claims Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and inter-company accounts Monitor and manage cash flow with proper documentation and audit trails Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with FTA regulations Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis Coordinate with external auditors and respond to audit queries Work with Zoho Books / Odoo ERP to ensure accurate accounting data Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial data across multiple entities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred) Strong understanding of UAE VAT, accounting standards, and financial reporting Proficiency in Zoho Books, Odoo, or similar ERP systems Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Skills

Experience handling multi-company accounts Knowledge of payroll processing and WPS Familiarity with project-based accounting Ability to interpret financial data and support management decisions
