You will be responsible for maintaining organized financial records for real estate and construction projects, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong accounting knowledge in the real estate sector, and is committed to contributing to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts for real estate and construction projects.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports.
Generate quarterly and annual financial statements along with work completion reports.
Review and approve supplier and contractor payments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all financial aspects of projects are properly managed.
Handle regulatory reporting requirements, including RERA compliance.
Manage transactions through Escrow accounting.
Maintain and review sub-ledger schedules for accounts receivable and payable.
Apply revenue recognition principles effectively.
Prepare statements and schedules for audits and tax filings.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of partner capital accounts.
Set up and update job costing and related spreadsheets at regular intervals.
Prepare budgets, tax reports, and financial forecasts for construction projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
Prior experience in a similar role .
Strong communication skills .
Solid knowledge of construction accounting standards and best practices.
