Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize an advanced understanding of QuickBooks to effectively oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and meticulously analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring strict adherence to UAE accounting standards.
- Stay abreast of evolving UAE tax regulations, ensuring the accurate and timely submission of tax returns. Collaborate with auditors and liaise with government authorities when necessary.
- Collaborate with the management team to construct and oversee budgets and financial forecasts, providing invaluable insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Conduct frequent bank reconciliations to guarantee the precise recording of all financial transactions and proactively resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision, including journal entries and account reconciliations, adhering to established timelines.
- Maintain a well-organized and comprehensive repository of financial records, ensuring that all documentation is readily accessible for audits and reporting requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of proven experience as an Accountant, with an extensive background in UAE accounting.
- Exceptional proficiency in QuickBooks software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE accounting regulations and tax laws.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- An exceptional eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capability to excel both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
