The primary role of the accountant is to support the functional activities in accounting and reporting.
Activities includes receivables & payable accounting, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, cash and banking accounting.
Key Accountabilities
To ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the company financial ledgers.
To efficiently reconcile financial transactions and balances in the company records to supporting documentation.
To be an effective team player and contribute to the timely delivery of accurate accounting information.
To maintain compliance with company policies in the area assigned, proactively seeking to solve issues faced.
Balance Sheet account reconciliations and follow-ups
Fixed Asset Capitalization, counts and Write Off\'s in coordination with operation team\xe2\x80\x99s
Month End Closing Activities -TB Uploads, Consolidation, Hyperion/Tagetik etc.
Monthly VAT filing and coordinate with treasury and VAT consultants
Support monthly / yearly closing, internal and external audits
To handle any other responsibilities assigned
Skills, knowledge & experience required
Must have graduated in Accounting/Commerce and display good relevant accounting knowledge. Post-Graduation/Professional Certifications will be an added advantage.
2\xe2\x80\x93 3 years of work experience in similar areas
Knowledge of MS Office solutions (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of SAP (Preferred)
Good communication skills in English, (arabic an advantage)\xe2\x80\x93 Verbal & Written
Must be reliable and dedicated and flexibility to work additional hours/week ends as business requirements dictate.
Willing ness to accept additional assignments.
