Job Title:

Experienced Accountant - Travel & Tourism

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in the

Travel & Tourism industry

to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing accurate financial reports to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Reconcile revenue from travel bookings, ticketing, packages, and tours.

Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost efficiency.

Handle VAT calculations, submissions, and compliance with UAE regulations.

Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external partners.

Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience (preferably in Travel & Tourism).

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and UAE VAT regulations.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience in Travel Agency or Tourism company accounts.

Knowledge of IATA, and ticketing reconciliations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
