Our client a rapidly expanding online e-commerce B2C/ B2B retail nutrition brand based in Dubai are experiencing sensational growth both online and offline and are now looking to recruit a qualified experienced ACCOUNTANT to join their team. The successful candidate will be based in Dubai and have experience working for a successful e-commerce or major retail brand ideally have SHOPIFY experience and have worked with XERO, QUICKBOOKS or Zoho. Accounting work shall be performed in compliance with the IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and Accounting Principles. .

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum of 5 years experience in the UAE
Xero, Quickbooks, or Zoho Books Accounting Software.
E-commerce business type of model ( SHOPIFY), Distribution, B2B, B2C.
Should be UAE based and be available for interview in -person

ACCOUNTANT SHALL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS:

Accounting work shall be performed in compliance with the IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and Accounting Principles.
Proper recording of business transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and any other transactions on the accounting software
Recording of payments & receipts
Recording of invoices and bills in the accounting software
Calculating commissions and recording of employee payroll
Reconciliation of books of accounts with bank statements
Capitalization of fixed assets and intangible assets on the accounting software
Calculating and recording depreciation and amortization on the accounting software
Recording of accruals and prepayments
Transactions recording for other advances and liabilities based on the information provided by the Management
Maintenance of General Ledger as per Company\xe2\x80\x99s Chart of Accounts
Calculations of VAT and maintaining the accounts as per VAT regulations
Presentation of system-generated accounting reports to the Management including:

a) Balance sheet
b) Income statement
c) Equity Statement
d) Cash flow statement
e) EBIDTA
f) Projections

Any other tasks related to the accounting and bookkeeping of the Company

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
