What are we looking for? We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant with a BS/BSc/BA of accounting with at least 3-5 years of experience in providing support to the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks within the whole finance cycle (Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Banks, General Ledger, etc.). You will also be either ACCA qualified or working towards it and be knowledgeable about the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company\xe2\x80\x99s finances. Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the junior accountant\xe2\x80\x99s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and pay close attention to detail. You will also be an advanced MS Excel user with knowledge of formulas, Vlookups and pivot tables. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Some of your daily job responsibilities will be to:

• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Handle monthly and annual closings.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements.
• Assist in Tax Returns preparation.
• Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Assist with other accounting projects.
