Job Description

We are looking for a

skilled and detail-oriented Accountant

to join our

plastic bags manufacturing company

. The ideal candidate must have

at least 2 years of experience in the UAE or GCC

, preferably within a

manufacturing or industrial environment

, and possess strong knowledge of

VAT and Corporate Tax

compliance.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage

Accounts Receivable (AR)

and

Accounts Payable (AP)

functions. Prepare and record

invoices, vouchers, journal entries

, and

bank reconciliations

. Perform

monthly closing

of accounts and ensure all financial data is accurate and complete. Prepare

weekly and monthly financial reports

for management. Monitor

cash flow

, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records. Assist in

budget preparation, cost control, and variance analysis

. Handle

VAT filing

and ensure

Corporate Tax compliance

as per UAE regulations. Maintain

general ledgers

and support daily accounting operations. Prepare and analyze

production cost reports

, including

material consumption, wastage, and cost per unit

. Maintain accurate

inventory and stock reports

, coordinating with

store and production departments

. Conduct

monthly stock reconciliations

and ensure proper valuation of raw materials and finished goods. Prepare

production and sales reports

on a

weekly and monthly basis

. Follow up on

outstanding payments

and resolve discrepancies with vendors or customers.

Qualifications & Skills:



Minimum

2 years of accounting experience

in the

UAE or GCC

, preferably in a

manufacturing/industrial environment

.

CA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified

preferred. Strong understanding of

costing and inventory accounting

. Solid knowledge of

UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws

. Proficient in

MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)

and

ERP/accounting software

. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Flexible and able to meet strict

weekly and monthly deadlines

.
