The Positive Thinkers is a Dubai-based holding company bringing together several renowned businesses across diverse sectors. We are currently looking for an Accountant to join a French sportswear company of international renown (approximately 200 employees) with strong ambitions for growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations: bookkeeping, invoices, expenses, bank reconciliations Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with French accounting standards and local UAE/Dubai regulations (VAT, corporate tax, reporting) Monitor cash flow, prepare financial forecasts, and support treasury management Handle tax filings and liaise with external auditors, accountants, and authorities Support management with financial analysis, dashboards, and reports Contribute to the optimization of accounting processes and internal controls Assist with ERP/finance system improvements and ensure data accuracy Provide support to cross-functional teams (finance, operations, HQ in France)
Required Education & Qualifications

University degree in accounting, finance, or related field (DCG, DSCG, Master CCA, or equivalent) Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting, ideally in an international environment Strong knowledge of French GAAP; understanding of UAE tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax) is a strong plus Fluency in French and English (daily working languages) Strong skills with accounting software (ERP, Sage, Cegid, or equivalent) and MS Excel Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment UAE residency required
