Accountant

to join our finance team and support our dynamic retail operations.

Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in retail accounting and a passion for working in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure timely submission of VAT and other statutory filings Support audits and liaise with external auditors Oversee inventory accounting and cost control processes Coordinate with retail and e-commerce departments for financial reporting Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or fashion industry Strong understanding of local UAE tax regulations Proficiency in accounting software (e.g Mircosoft Excel, Zoho books) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a plus
