Accountant For Construction / Projects

Job Description
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Assisting in preparation of monthly MIS.
- Effective communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Strong knowledge on inventory control and monthly/yearly stock taking.
- Well conversant with cash flow statements, financial projections.
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and collections. Ensure timely settlement of payments and receipts.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions and identify any discrepancies.
- Ability to analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Sound understanding of industry-specific financial practices, taxation, and compliance.
- Strong familiarity with UAE taxation norms and regulations.
- Monitors petty cash payments and the replenishments.
- Familiar with Tally & Odoo ERP accounting software.
- Professional manner, strong work ethic and can work under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Real Estate/ Contracting Experience is an advantage.

- We are located in Sharjah Industrial Area 10, and there is no public transportation available in this area. Can you arrange your own transportation (ex: carpool service)?
- Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm. Saturday is from 8am until 3pm. Sunday is a holiday. Are you available for these hours?
