Accountant
Role Overview:
The Accountant will manage financial records, transactions, and reporting for construction projects and company operations. The role requires expertise in construction accounting, including cost tracking, budgeting, and financial analysis, to support decision-making and ensure financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Track and report project costs, budgets, variances, and profitability.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Process payroll, employee expenses, and petty cash management.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and manage working capital.
• Coordinate with project managers to review costs, contracts, and financial progress.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and other tax regulations in the UAE.
• Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support cost control and efficiency improvements.
• Liaise with banks, suppliers, and clients for financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Implement and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry in the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Immediately available to join.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA).
• Experience with construction-specific accounting software.
