Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
• Maintain cashbooks and ensure that entries for payments and receivables are accurately recorded in cashbooks.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
• Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Stay updated with industry developments and changes in financial regulations to ensure compliance.

Preferred Candidate: * Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.

• Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
