Job Purpose
To ensure the accurate and timely management of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, VAT compliance, cash flow, and budgeting. The role is critical in supporting the financial stability and growth of the organization by maintaining robust accounting records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT filings in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operations.
• Support the budgeting process, including preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments; track outstanding receivables and payables.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, tax laws, and internal controls.
• Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar).
• Assist in cost analysis and financial planning for chemical/petrochemical projects.
• Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions and support internal/external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in the chemical or petrochemical sector.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory; proficiency in English required.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

Preferred

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.

Skills Required
