Salary: AED 8,000 - 9,000 per month

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Accountant with a strong background in financial management within the interior fit-out or construction sector. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple financial responsibilities to support project and company operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and journal entries (supplier, subcontractor, operational, administrative, and marketing).
• Maintain accurate records of subcontractor certifications and assist the Procurement Department.
• Manage payment records, receipt vouchers, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate expense and accounting reports, ensuring up-to-date cash flow data.
• Oversee VAT transactions in compliance with FTA requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and assist auditors with timely financial information.
• Develop, update, and enforce internal accounting policies and controls.
• Collaborate with senior finance leadership to optimize financial procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• High level of accuracy, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
