Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to support the financial operations of our Facility Management division. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing budgets, managing vendor payments, tracking expenditures, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations relevant to facility services.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to facility management.
Record and monitor all income and expenses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports specific to facility operations.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.
Collaborate with facility managers to prepare annual budgets for building maintenance, utilities, capital expenditures, and other facility-related costs.
Track budget performance and report variances to management.
Review and process invoices from facility vendors (cleaning, security, HVAC, etc.).
Ensure contracts are financially viable and in line with budget constraints.
Monitor service level agreements and payment schedules.
Identify cost-saving opportunities in facility operations.
Perform regular analysis of operational expenditures to optimize financial performance.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal policies.
Maintain documentation for leases, insurance, utilities, and facility maintenance contracts.
Liaise between finance and facility management teams to align operational needs with financial planning.
Support procurement processes for facility-related purchases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
2-4 years of accounting experience; experience in facility management or property management is an advantage.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
