Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including bookkeeping, VAT filing, and proficiency in accounting software such as SAGE, Xero, and QuickBooks. Candidates must also have at least 2 years of UAE work experience with a strong understanding of local accounting practices and VAT compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate bookkeeping and ensure timely recording of all financial transactions.
Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance as per UAE regulations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Process payroll, expense claims, and petty cash management.
Support external/internal audits by providing necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax laws.
Use and manage accounting systems such as SAGE, Xero, and QuickBooks.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required.
Liaise with management and external stakeholders on financial matters.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in the UAE.
Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, VAT filing, and compliance.
Proficiency in SAGE, Xero, and QuickBooks accounting software.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
