Guildhall is representing a leading organisation in their search for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing team. This role will be integral to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management with data-driven financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in line with established accounting principles.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient payment cycles and timely collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings.
• Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and resolving queries.
• Maintain well-structured financial records and organised documentation.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven track record as an Accountant or in a similar role within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho or similar platforms, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
