Job Description
Our client, a multinational company based in Dubai is urgently looking for an Accountant.
Summary Profile:
\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the bookkeeping of assigned entity and for their cash position and settlement management.
\xc2\xb7 Conduct bookkeeping and journal entry for assigned entity independently
\xc2\xb7 Make adequate arrangement of payment and trade transactions
\xc2\xb7 Properly acquire the internal accounting related rules and regulations and operate company\xe2\x80\x99s accounting system and software.
Key Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 To manage the major bookkeeping and VAT filing of assigned entities independently, including checking documents for representative offices and affiliated companies, and making necessary correction.
\xc2\xb7 To conduct BS and PL account balance check for assigned entities and support the analysis of BS and PL for financial closing, including group consolidation and budget planning reporting with managers.
\xc2\xb7 To arrange payments to internal payee and external payee
\xc2\xb7 To support internal account auditing for other offices in Middle East and Africa block based on company regulation and make a proper reporting on their findings
\xc2\xb7 To support external auditing by providing necessary documents and appropriate explanation together with managers.
\xc2\xb7 To support research and business support activity initiated by GM and DGM
\xc2\xb7 To manage accounting files and other documents
Skills / Knowledge:
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of accounting and tax and finance.
\xc2\xb7 Accounting system (SAP, SAGE etc ) skills is preferable.
\xc2\xb7 Numerical, analytical, and basic communication skills.
\xc2\xb7 IT skills including Excel, Word etc.
\xc2\xb7 Good communications skills (verbal, written and listening) in English
\xc2\xb7 Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative. Should be a self-motivated and reliable individual
Experience:
\xc2\xb7 More than 5 years relevant experience in accounting/tax/finance area.
Education:
\xc2\xb7 Undergraduate degree or equivalent of accounting.
\xc2\xb7 Qualification of Accounting/finance is preferable.
