We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our clients and our firm. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain and update financial records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are in place.
- Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Provide support during audits and assist with audit preparations as needed.
- Handle ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by management.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in a financial services firm or consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred, but not required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as Arabic is a plus.
