- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete financial records for Curio in both Dubai and Saudi Arabia. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure all transactions are recorded in a timely manner using Xero accounting software. Reconcile bank statements and financial data regularly to maintain accuracy. \xe2\x80\xa2 VAT Filing and Compliance: Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with local regulations in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay updated with changes in VAT laws and ensure the company\'s compliance. Handle VAT-related correspondence and queries from relevant authorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports and statements on a regular basis to provide insights into the company\'s financial performance. Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports for management review. Assist in financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. \xe2\x80\xa2 Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor budgetary performance and report any variances to the management team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Audit Support: Prepare necessary documentation and support external auditors during the audit process. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure all audit requirements are met, and audit queries are addressed promptly. \xe2\x80\xa2 Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements and resolve any discrepancies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assistance in Import & Export: Prepare and review all necessary documents related to import and export activities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and international trade laws. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay updated with import/export regulations and guidelines, ensuring all documentation meets legal standards and prevents any potential issues during customs clearance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaising with customs clearance agencies to facilitate seamless customs clearance for products entering various territories
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 4-6 years of experience in accounting or related field \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations \xe2\x80\xa2 Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a multinational company operating in Dubai \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong proficiency in Xero accounting software. \xe2\x80\xa2 In-depth knowledge of VAT laws and regulations in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
