The Accountant cum Warehouse Controller will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions while also overseeing warehouse operations. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, proper inventory control, compliance with company policies, and smooth coordination between finance and warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
Prepare, maintain, and reconcile general ledger accounts, supplier invoices, and customer accounts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely payments and collections.
Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of supporting documentation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Handle payroll processing, staff advances, and expense reimbursements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (tax, audit, etc.).
Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Warehouse Control Duties:
Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
Maintain proper stock records (physical & system) and ensure accuracy with periodic stock counts.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure optimum stock levels.
Monitor material movement and reconcile physical stock with accounting records.
Implement and maintain warehouse safety, security, and housekeeping standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies regarding inventory management and reporting.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
Good understanding of warehouse management and inventory control practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Attention to detail with strong numerical skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting and warehouse/inventory management.
Experience in manufacturing, trading, or distribution industry preferred.
Familiarity with ERP/Warehouse Management Systems is an advantage.

Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
Timely payment and collection cycle.
Zero variance between system stock and physical stock.
Compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
Efficiency in warehouse operations and stock handling.
