Maintain accurate books of accounts (AR, AP, GL)
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries
Handle bank reconciliation and petty cash management
Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding payments
Process supplier payments and maintain vendor records
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies
Maintain proper filing of financial documents
Administrative Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day office administration activities
Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and service providers
Handle document control and filing (physical & digital)
Support HR with attendance records, leave tracking, and payroll coordination
Prepare official letters, emails, and internal correspondence
Maintain office supplies and assets inventory
Assist management with reports and administrative tasks as required
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum
2-4 years of relevant experience
in UAE
Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations
Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks
Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Preferred Skills
Experience in construction / contracting / project-based companies
Knowledge of UAE Labour Law basics
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
