Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

with a strong background in

construction and interior fit-out accounting

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial transactions, maintaining accurate project accounts, and ensuring compliance with both

company policies

and

local regulatory standards

.
Proficiency in

Odoo ERP

and familiarity with

IFRS

and

Saudi VAT regulations

are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Record and maintain all accounting transactions, including project-related expenses, supplier invoices, and client billings. Manage

accounts payable and receivable

, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections. Monitor

project budgets

, track cost allocations, and analyze variances. Prepare and process

journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

to maintain up-to-date ledgers. Utilize

Odoo ERP

for financial data entry, reporting, and reconciliation of project accounts. Support

monthly, quarterly, and annual closing

activities. Assist in

internal and external audits

, ensuring adherence to

IFRS

and company accounting standards. Ensure compliance with

Saudi VAT laws

and other local financial regulations. Prepare

financial reports

and management summaries for ongoing construction and fit-out projects. Collaborate with the

project management and procurement teams

to track costs and project profitability. Support continuous improvement initiatives and automation of accounting processes within

Odoo ERP

.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years

of accounting experience, preferably within the

construction or interior fit-out industry

. Strong understanding of

project cost accounting, progress billing, and retention accounting

.

Proficiency in Odoo ERP

(Accounting & Project modules) is required. In-depth knowledge of

Saudi VAT

,

ZATCA requirements

, and

local accounting regulations

. Well-versed with

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

.

Excellent analytical skills

, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

and other general accounting tools. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

Experience managing

multiple construction or fit-out projects

simultaneously. Familiarity with

bank guarantees, letters of credit, and subcontractor accounts

.

5 years of experience

working in the

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

. Ability to

read and write Arabic

(added advantage). Familiarity with

Odoo software

is a strong plus. Candidates

currently based in KSA
