Accountant with strong bank reconciliation experience

to join our team in Dubai.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and reconciling multiple bank accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with UAE financial regulations. This role requires hands-on experience with UAE banking systems and a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple company accounts Identify and investigate discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution Record and update all bank-related transactions accurately Coordinate with internal departments and external banking partners to clarify unmatched items Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and other relevant financial regulations Support month-end and year-end closing activities Assist in audit preparations by providing clear reconciliation reports and documentation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-4 years of accounting experience, with

at least 1 year of UAE-based bank reconciliation work

Solid understanding of UAE banking systems, local finance regulations, and reconciliation procedures Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP) Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to handle multiple accounts and meet tight deadlines independently

Preferred

Experience in the

real estate or construction sector

is a plus Candidates who are
