A Treasury Accountant plays a crucial role in managing a company's financial resources, focusing on liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk. Their responsibilities typically include:
Responsibilities:
Cash Management:
- Monitoring daily cash balances and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Preparing daily cash position reports and forecasts.
- Initiating electronic funds transfers (EFTs), wire transfers, and other payment instructions.
- Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintaining relationships with banking partners and managing bank accounts.
- Administering online banking platforms and user access.
- Assisting in opening, closing, or modifying bank accounts as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role & industry
