Accountant
Job Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for managing the clinic's financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supports the Clinic Manager in financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Recording: Maintain complete and accurate general ledger. Record all daily transactions, including revenue from the cashier and expenses.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Oversee the AR ledger, reconcile insurance payments received against claims submitted, and monitor patient outstanding balances. Support the Insurance Coordinator in complex collections.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Process and pay vendor and supplier invoices in a timely manner. Manage clinic expenses.
• Payroll: Calculate and process staff salaries, overtime, and allowances in strict compliance with UAE WPS (Wage Protection System) and labor laws.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet), budget vs. actual reports, and other financial analyses for management. Assist with year-end audit preparation.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations for healthcare services. Liaise with external auditors and government bodies as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, CPA) is a plus.
• Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a healthcare or service industry in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT, WPS, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
