About the Role:
As an Accountant at Energy Leaders, you will be responsible for managing key financial procedures and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our fiscal health and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions and ensure they are properly recorded in the general ledger.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Handle month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Ensure compliance with all VAT and corporate tax regulations in the UAE.
• Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status to support management.
• Process payroll and manage employee expense reimbursements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is a significant advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Accountant, specifically within the UAE. Candidates without UAE experience will not be considered.
• Technical Skills:
• High proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
• Knowledge:
• In-depth understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and UAE financial regulations.
• Solid knowledge of VAT and corporate tax implementation in the UAE.
