Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal financial policies.
- Conduct financial analysis to support procurement decisions and provide recommendations on financial aspects of procurement activities.
- Prepare financial reports and statements related to procurement activities.
- Manage procurement budgets and track expenses against budgeted amounts.
- Develop and implement financial controls related to procurement activities.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize procurement processes and drive cost savings.
- Provide financial training to procurement staff to improve financial literacy.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and procurement functions.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting principles, and procurement processes.
- Experience working with financial software, such as accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
