Job Title: Account Manager (Arabic)

Location: Doha Qatar

LOCAL HIRING

:

- Oversee all accounting and financial operations of the construction company. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections. Monitor project-related financial activities, including job costing, billing, and profitability tracking.

- Develop and maintain budgets for various construction projects. Provide financial forecasting to support strategic planning and decision-making. Ensure that project expenditures align with approved budgets and cost control measures.

- Implement financial controls to manage project costs and optimize profitability. Review and approve payment requests, invoices, and purchase orders. Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant local laws. Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, payroll, and financial reports. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory standards.

- Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing operations and project execution. Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to manage loans, credit facilities, and payments.

- Oversee project-specific financial reporting, ensuring all costs and revenues are accounted for accurately. Track and manage project billing, subcontractor payments, and client invoicing. Ensure timely financial closing and reporting for each project phase.

- Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring proper training and development. Delegate tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure financial accuracy.

- Provide financial updates and reports to senior management, clients, and external stakeholders. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to manage financial aspects of projects.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with a focus on the construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of accounting software (ERP systems, QuickBooks) and financial reporting.

- Construction Accounting Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction project accounting, cost control, and job costing.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for financial analysis and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- CPA, ACCA, or other relevant certifications preferred.

- Experience working in large-scale construction projects is an advantage.

-Must be in Qatar and with valid Qatari Id.

-Arabic preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1.00 - QAR2.00 per month
