Job Summary

The accountant will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. This position ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions in accordance with GAAP and internal standards. Responsibilities:

Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports. Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank statements. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other financial laws. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Support external audits, tax filings, and financial reporting. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience,

including at least 1-2 years in the UAE

. Solid understanding of

UAE VAT regulations

and local financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho, or ERP systems). Strong understanding of GAAP and/or IFRS. Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. CPA, ACCA, CMA, or working toward certification is a plus.
