Account Director (Flexible Services)

Dubai

Salary range: AED 45-55,000 per month

Role Overview

Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our Flexible Services team.

Our Flexible Services team provides interim resourcing solutions to clients across a wide range of sectors. The team is spread across the UK, Germany, Singapore and Australia. We are now looking for an Account Director to lead the further expansion into the Middle East to support clients and engage with talent across the region. This role is primarily focussed on establishing the Flexible Services team in the region, however, in time the role may broaden out to support the growth of our Managed Legal Services business.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Growing the Flexible Services business line across the Middle East, acting as the key point of contact to raise both Vario Group and Flexible Services profiles within the Firm and the wider external market.
  • Proactively building a quality local talent pool which will best meet client and firm requirements in the region, working with the relevant Practice Group/Sector/team to analyse any talent gaps in the Vario Hub
  • Delivering effective client relationship management support, with the objective of retaining revenue and driving new profitable revenue growth whilst seeking opportunities to cross-sell the wider capabilities of both the Group and the Firm.
  • As a senior representative of the Vario Group \xe2\x80\x9con the ground\xe2\x80\x9d in the Middle East, helping to proactively identify leads and opportunities for our expanding and evolving Managed Legal Services business.
  • Driving activities to help leverage existing client relationships across the Flexible Services business to generate opportunities in the Middle East, and where Middle East client relationships can be leveraged to generate opportunities in other markets.
  • Taking ownership of the RFP process for Flexible Services, contributing from both a lead advisor and where necessary, taking a \'hands-on\' role in shaping proposals and identifying new pursuits/opportunities.
  • Contributing to the wider Vario Group and Flexible Services growth strategy, understanding how the function can contribute and evolve to support the wider practice group growth.
  • Working with our Vario Business Manager and Head of Flexible Services to review and develop annual revenue, cost and headcount budgets along with half year review.
Our standard working hours are 9.00am-6.00pm from Monday to Friday inclusive, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests. We operate a hybrid working model and we typically spend half of our week in the office and half of our week working from home.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who hold the following skills and experience:
  • Experience of working in an agency or in-house recruitment team.
  • Experience of working in a professional services or alternative legal services environment.
  • Worked knowledge of the Middle East legal services market.
