Value Added Services (VAS) is a key pillar in Visa's growth strategy with the mission to drive revenue growth through the launch and scaling of VAS products. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic product commercialization manager to join our Acceptance VAS team and drive the launch and expansion of innovative acceptance solutions across the CEMEA region.
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling go-to-market strategies and driving the launch of new solutions in CEMEA. This includes working with global product owners to ensure product technical readiness, pricing approval for CEMEA, identifying target markets/clients, opportunity sizing, and sales team enablement. The candidate will also serve as subject matter expert for products within his/her scope of work. Furthermore, the candidate will support the overall acceptance solutions strategy development as well as business operations activities such as yearly plans, and performance reporting.
This position would be ideal for a candidate with a blend of product management expertise in card payments and consulting experience. This role is part of the market support center team for the CEMEA region and will report to the head of Acceptance Solutions within the VAS organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new acceptance products, defining target markets, client segments, and timelines to drive successful adoption
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify and size market opportunities, providing the critical insights that shape the commercialization roadmap
Ensure product readiness for seamless rollout in collaboration with relevant teams, covering technical readiness, pricing approvals, as well as readiness of implementation and support teams
Equip sales teams with the knowledge and tools they need to win, including developing impactful training programs, creating compelling sales collateral, and building value calculators
Measure, track and report on product launch and adoption metrics
Serve as the product SME (Subject Matter Expert) for solutions in scope and drive product enhancements and CEMEA customizations in collaboration with the global product team
Support the development of acceptance solutions growth strategy in CEMEA, including priorities identification, key products to scale, and modeling of revenue growth
Support annual planning activities for overall acceptance solutions, including product launch and scaling plans, revenue growth projections and opex planning
Lead reporting activities on product adoption, as well as reporting to senior execs on key results
Build effective partnerships with the CEMEA VAS sales teams, global product team and other functions to ensure alignment on priorities and to drive impact
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Graduate School/ Master's Degree Preferred
7+ years of experience in product management, product commercialization and/or consulting within the payments industry
A proven track record of successfully launching and scaling new products
Solid understanding of card payments technologies and ecosystem
Strong business acumen coupled with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Ability to work independently, remotely, and with other teams and functions within a complex environment
Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders and comfortable in leading client/partner discussions and presentations
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel skills to support preparation of sales decks and Excel models (e.g. business cases, revenue projections, product performance analysis)
Good command of English is a must
Ability to travel as required
