Job Description

The Academic Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and quality assurance of all academic programs. This role ensures academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and the effective delivery of curriculum, while leading and mentoring academic staff to support institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and periodic review of academic programs and curricula. Ensure programs comply with accreditation standards and regulatory guidelines. Supervise faculty recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and ongoing development. Analyze student performance data and implement effective strategies to drive academic success. Work closely with department heads to strengthen academic quality and instructional delivery. Establish and uphold academic policies, procedures, and quality assurance frameworks. Promote innovative teaching practices, including the integration of digital learning tools. Represent the institution during academic audits, inspections, and external evaluations. Oversee academic calendar planning, class scheduling, and assessment coordination. Lead initiatives focused on improving student engagement, retention, and academic support.

Qualifications & Experience:

5-8 years of experience in academic leadership or educational administration.

Master's or Doctorate in Education or a related academic discipline. Solid understanding of accreditation processes and education regulatory frameworks. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage academic teams. Exceptional communication, organizational, and strategic leadership skills.
