Job Summary:
We're seeking a dedicated and student-focused Academic Counselor to provide guidance and support to students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in academic advising, student development, and higher education.
Responsibilities:
Provide academic advising and guidance to students
Help students create academic plans and set goals
Assist students in navigating academic policies and procedures
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
Develop and implement programs to promote student retention and engagement
Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress
Stay up-to-date with academic programs, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Counseling, Education, or related field
Experience in academic advising or student affairs
Strong knowledge of academic policies and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with diverse student populations
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Bilingual proficiency in English.
