AC Technician
Job Summary:
The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems within the property. This role ensures a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff by maintaining optimal climate control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all AC units, chillers, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC/R systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and guest room climate control complaints.
- Install new AC systems and equipment as required.
- Monitor and maintain refrigerant levels and pressure in accordance with safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with other engineering team members on larger projects.
- Diploma or certification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or a related field.
- Proven experience as an AC Technician, preferably in a hotel or large facility.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, electrical circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to handle refrigerants safely and possess relevant certification (e.g., EPA 608).
- Physical fitness to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.
