Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, heat exchangers, and control systems, as assigned by site management.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to operational manuals, SOPs, and scheduled plans.
• Execute routine technical rounds, report equipment issues, and ensure repairs meet SLA and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions using diagnostic tools and testing devices.
• Repair or replace faulty air conditioning components, refrigerant lines, pumps, and control systems.
• Upgrade, modify, or renovate HVAC systems as instructed to meet operational needs.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on major plant equipment, including chillers and heat exchangers.
• Ensure all tasks comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, if required for emergency repairs or system servicing.

Ideal Profile

• Technical diploma or certification in HVAC or a related mechanical/electrical field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, preferably within commercial or mixed-use facilities.
• Strong understanding of air conditioning systems, chillers, and mechanical plant operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.
• Skilled in using HVAC diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces or at height when required.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of managing multiple maintenance tasks independently.
