Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning and HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system issues, including electrical and mechanical failures.
Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing of AC units, compressors, and refrigerant levels.
Install and replace compressors, evaporators, condensers, and other HVAC components.
Ensure proper refrigerant handling and compliance with environmental regulations.
Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other professionals as needed.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and any necessary repairs.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an
AC Technician
with at least
2 years in the field
.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, air conditioning units, and refrigeration principles.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification in HVAC or refrigeration is a plus.
