AC Technician
Job Summary:
The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning systems, including split units, window units, and centralized HVAC systems. The goal is to ensure optimal performance and climate control within the facilities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair various types of AC and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Evacuate and recharge AC systems with refrigerant in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or wiring.
• Test system performance using specialized tools and gauges.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues to clients in a clear manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program in HVAC is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as an AC Technician.
• EPA 608 Certification for handling refrigerants is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and refrigeration cycles.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic and testing equipment.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
