Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:

Installation:

Install new air conditioning systems and components, including ductwork, wiring, and piping. Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on AC systems, including cleaning, filter replacement, and system checks. Inspect and test AC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Repair:

Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system malfunctions and breakdowns. Repair or replace defective components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.

Customer Service:

Communicate with clients to understand their AC system issues and provide professional recommendations. Provide detailed explanations of repairs and maintenance procedures to customers.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including work orders, parts used, and time spent on each job. Prepare and submit service reports and invoices in a timely manner.

Safety:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing installations, maintenance, and repairs. Use protective equipment and follow proper procedures to ensure personal and customer safety.

Technical Proficiency:

Stay updated on the latest advancements in AC technology and repair techniques. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to enhance troubleshooting and repair efficiency.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other technicians, electricians, and contractors to ensure seamless project completion. Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
