We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and components.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in AC systems and provide effective solutions.
Perform routine maintenance and service tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues and solutions.
Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements when necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
Proven experience as an AC Technician or similar role.
Valid HVAC license or certification (depending on local regulations).
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and troubleshooting methods.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to work in varying conditions, including confined spaces and high places.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of smart HVAC controls and energy-efficient systems.
Ability to handle refrigerants and understand EPA regulations.
Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
