Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automotive AC Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various automotive AC systems and a passion for delivering quality service.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair automotive air conditioning systems Perform AC system evacuations and recharging procedures Replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves Repair and replace AC hoses, belts, and electrical components Conduct leak testing using UV dyes and electronic leak detectors Service cabin air filters and perform system cleaning Test AC performance and ensure optimal cooling efficiency Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory Provide cost estimates and explain repairs to customers Follow environmental regulations for refrigerant handling Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment
Required Qualifications

Technical diploma in Automotive Technology or related field Minimum 2-4 years of experience in automotive AC repair Knowledge of R-134a and R-1234yf refrigerant systems Experience with AC manifold gauges and recovery machines Familiarity with various vehicle makes (Toyota, Nissan, Honda, BMW, Mercedes, etc.) Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools Basic English communication skills
Preferred Skills

ASE certification in A7 (Heating & Air Conditioning) or equivalent Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle AC systems Knowledge of automatic climate control systems Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software Previous experience in UAE automotive market Customer service experience
