Key Responsibilities of the AC Technician:
To report punctually to duty and to be in proper department standard uniform.
To treat all customers and colleagues in a polite, courteous manner at all times. To also give full cooperation and assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner to both customer needs.
To be flexible in assisting in other departments of the hotel in response to the business and customer needs.
Main Duties:
Routine maintenance of Chillers, Air Handling Units, Fan coil Units.
Daily inspection of chillers, AHU\'s.
Check the following log sheets before it is forwarded to the R & M Manager.
Chiller log sheet
Ice cube checklist
Refrigeration checklist
Cold room temperature checklist
Attend to the Preventive Maintenance sheets of fan coil units, air handling units.
Planning and implementing of Annual Maintenance during winter.
Attend to the repair of Cold rooms, Freezers, Ice Cubes and all Refrigeration equipments in the Hotel in the absence of Refrigeration Technician.
Check for defects and give feedback to the R & M Manager on a daily basis.
Check the function sheets on a daily basis and ensure that the Shift personnel has switch ON the AHU\'s 2 hours prior to function.
Monthly status report of all equipments to be submitted to R & M Manager.
Assist the R & M Manager to prepare weekly out of order equipment list.
Assist the R & M Manager to prepare the spare parts list.
Attend to the daily assignment sheet given to you.
Attend to the service requests.
To have a clear understanding of the Hotel\'s Fire Drill, the staff handbook and the regulations stated therein.
To observe and enforce the Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations.
To have a particular regard to the safe operation of all plant and equipment and ensure the safety of Guests and staff at all times.
To observe the regulations regarding the Guest contact and entry to Guestrooms.
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained in all areas and to liaise with other departments in this matter.
Attend the morning briefing at 8:45 am and 5:30 pm at the end of the day.
To attend to training programmer whenever requested/scheduled.
Confine to your work area except during meal time.
To carry out any other duties that may be assigned by your manager.
