Duties
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration units.
Support service technicians by providing hands-on assistance with equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in property maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs and appliance servicing.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and perform welding as needed.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and assist in inventory management of parts and supplies.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
Construction or field service experience is preferred.
Familiarity with HVAC design principles and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance.
Experience with plumbing systems and appliance repair is a plus.
