Log all service, repairs, and parts used for accurate documentation.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical:
HVAC knowledge, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, blueprint reading, use of diagnostic tools (gauges, meters).
Certifications:
EPA Section 608 certification often required for handling refrigerants (like in the US).
Education:
High school diploma/GED; technical diploma/certificate in HVAC/Refrigeration.
Soft Skills:
Problem-solving, time management, communication, attention to detail, physical stamina.
Work Environment
Can involve working in various conditions (attics, roofs, tight spaces).
Requires physical effort, including lifting and working with tools.
Can involve travel to different client sites.
