Job Description

IMMEDIATE JOIN REQUIRED

Installation:Installing air conditioning systems, including central air systems, window units, split systems, and ductless mini-split systems.
Mounting and securing units, connecting electrical components, and ensuring proper refrigerant flow.
Testing systems to ensure they function correctly and efficiently.

Maintenance:Conducting routine inspections to assess system performance and identify potential issues.
Cleaning and replacing air filters and other components as needed.
Lubricating moving parts to reduce friction and maintain efficiency.
Checking refrigerant levels and recharging systems when necessary.
Inspecting and cleaning ductwork for proper airflow.

Repairs:Diagnosing and troubleshooting AC and refrigeration system problems, such as refrigerant leaks, electrical issues, and compressor failures.
Repairing or replacing faulty components, such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats.
Conducting electrical and mechanical repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of systems.
Using specialized tools and equipment to perform repairs.

Refrigerant Handling:Handling and disposing of refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations.
Ensuring the safe storage and transport of refrigerants.

Customer Interaction:Interacting with customers to explain issues and repair options.
Providing cost estimates for repairs or new installations.
Offering advice on system maintenance and energy efficiency.

Record-Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of service and repair work.
Documenting the parts used, labor hours, and services provided.

Safety:Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Using personal protective equipment when working with refrigerants and electrical components.

Continuing Education:Staying up-to-date with advances in HVAC technology and industry regulations.
Attending training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.

Tools and Equipment:Using a variety of hand and power tools, such as gauges, wrenches, meters, and drills.
Operating specialized HVAC equipment like vacuum pumps and refrigerant recovery machines.

Physical Requirements:

The job may require lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces or extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
