Job Description

We are a reputable MEP and HVAC company seeking a qualified and experienced

A/C Mechanic

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the

installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair

of various HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other trades as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality MEP works.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including

split units, ducted systems, chilled water systems, FCUs, AHUs, VRV/VRF systems, and package units

. Perform commissioning, testing, and balancing of HVAC systems as per project specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues in A/C systems. Conduct

preventive and corrective maintenance

activities on HVAC equipment. Read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. Charge systems with refrigerant, test for leaks, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Coordinate with other MEP trades (plumbing, electrical, fire fighting) during installation and maintenance. Maintain proper documentation of daily work, service reports, and maintenance records. , proper handling of refrigerants, and company quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent technical qualification. Minimum

3-5 years

of relevant experience in MEP/HVAC projects or facility management. Good knowledge of different HVAC systems used in MEP installations. Ability to read HVAC shop drawings and install accordingly. Knowledge of

MEP coordination

and integration with electrical and plumbing systems. GCC experience is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent technical and problem-solving skills. Familiar with HVAC tools, gauges, and diagnostic instruments. Ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure. Strong understanding of HVAC safety procedures and refrigerant handling. Good communication and reporting skills.
