Key ResponsibilitiesMarine HVACR Maintenance & Technical Support
Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration systems onboard vessels.
Diagnose system faults and carry out corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment efficiency and safe operation.
Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of HVACR and related marine systems.
Monitor system performance and report any abnormalities or improvement recommendations.
Inspection, Safety & Compliance
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and marine regulations.
Follow approved procedures while working onboard vessels and at offshore locations.
Identify potential safety risks and report them immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Documentation & Reporting
Document all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities accurately.
Prepare service reports and submit updates to the supervisor.
Maintain records of work performed, system condition, and spare parts usage.
Operational Support
Work effectively in vessel-based and offshore environments.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and vessel crew during maintenance activities.
Support urgent repairs and breakdown response when required.
Assist with day-to-day technical operations as assigned by management.
Working Conditions
Vessel-based and offshore working environment.
May involve travel and flexible working hours depending on operational requirements.
Strict adherence to safety procedures is mandatory.
